FAQ
General
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. Each person has a different dental plan and situation. We will work on your behalf to maximize your benefits and not compromise your dental treatment. We do not want finances dictating dental treatment. We also have financing options and certain discounts for those who qualify. Give us a call and let us help you with your dental treatment and your insurance benefits.
Do you perform orthodontic (braces) treatment?
please contact me as soon as possible regarding compensation for the monetary damages I've incurred due to the defective heat system and its improper maintenance. I need to have this resolved before the end of the month and I would like to work through this issue with you, rather than getting my lawyer involved or contacting the city.
What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?
In the case of a dental emergency, you can call our office and you will receive an emergency number to call. You will then be contacted as soon as possible and we will provide as much helpful information as possible over the phone. If we need to see you personally, we will arrange this as needed.
How do I know then it’s time to come in for a check-up?
The American Dental Association recommends a healthy adult have a check-up consisting of a cleaning and exam with x-rays as needed every 6 months. No two individuals are alike and based on patient’s medical history, dental history, and future needs, we can customize a treatment plan that is just right for you.
We do not “place implants” in our office. We do restore implants in our office. First, we discuss treatment options with you and determine if an implant is the ideal choice for your situation. Then, we team up with either an oral surgeon or periodontist and discuss with them your case and treatment. The oral surgeon or periodontist will place the implant and we will allow proper healing time for the implant. After proper healing time, we place the planned crown on the implant in our office.
Do you perform root canals and extractions?
Yes, we are proficient in both procedures and discuss with you what the procedure entails and your treatment options. We make sure patients are educated about what is going on in their mouth.
We do offer dental sedation. We have three main choices that we provide: nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and I.V. sedation, all in office. The I.V. sedation is performed by a medical anesthesiologist who treats you in our office. Depending on your level of anxiety and dental treatment needed, we can suggest to you the best option. All sedation methods are in a comfortable, calm environment with your needs in mind. Please give us a call to discuss with you the best option.
Do you provide cosmetic dentistry?
Yes. We treat each patient individually and develop a treatment plan that best fits your needs. We have lots of options to offer and we spend time with you one-on-one discussing your personal situation.
At what age should my children first see the dentist?
We prefer to see children by age 3. This is a simple visit with the parent and often during one of the parent’s appointments. We simply introduce ourselves and discuss with the parent what to expect with their child’s developing teeth and how to care for the teeth.
Yes, we treat children in our office. We like to make sure their first and any dental appointment is enjoyable. We introduce children to the office with a tell, show, and do treatment method. We explain the procedure on their level, show them what we will be using, and in some cases let them feel certain items. Then, after they are comfortable, we begin treatment with frequent questioning and evaluating of how they are doing.
Are you accepting new patients?
We are always accepting new patients and would be honored to treat your dental needs.
